This is a quite interesting topic across the globe for any sports to make an all time best 11 for any team game.For Soccer I am sure each and every pundit has created their best 11. Fact is that when they are creating they themselves know this 11 can't be the best one. We are living in the era of Virtual world. Due to the blessings of software or game writers our Imaginations are getting more and more real. Due to development of Technology the fine line of reality and Imaginations are become merged. Football is the game which is become a religion to the people across the globe. I don't think any other game has such global appeal which soccer does have. Because of the soccer , People of the interior part of Asia, Africa are spending sleepless night and cheering up for the different continent countries like Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.

So being a Soccer Fan I am trying to design an all time best 11. But fact is that It is almost impossible to distinguish between greatness of the players of two or three different era. If you ask me my opinion I will find 6/7 greats are in one position. But Football is the game of 11 players. So How?

I have divided my observation in two parts. 1) The Greats whom I have seen on operation full 90 minutes and 2) The greats whom I have read about maximum watched video Clip. I have exceptional respect for those pundits and reporters who had created an Inter Era Highway by using the tools like write up and Video clips.

Goal Keeper:

DINO ZOFF:

Lev Yashin, Gordon Banks, Sepp Maier these names are very dependable in Goal keeping hostory. To be very honest It 's very difficult for any experts to skip these names. My problem is that I have heard legend of Yashin even able to see Video clip of the excellent save of Gordon Banks against Pele.But Dino Zoff is the name whom I hated most. I had witnessed him on 1982 world cup. Paolo Rossi might be the hero of 1982 especially the historic win (3-2) against one of the finest Brazilian team in the history but 40 years Captain of Italy brought his performance in different height on this particular day. He was continuing his same form and had Played like a wall on 1982 world cup. Dino Zoff was actually responsible to break the heart of Brazilian Fans of 1982 and that's why being a 3rd standard school boy I had hated this person very much but I still can't come out of the keeping of this great man. Oliver Kahn is also one of my favorites. But My Vote will be always for great Dino Zoff.

First of all I was little bit confused about his role . what will be the role of him in team? Defender or Sweeper or Holding Midfielder? One of the complete footballers in history. Without Kaiser no best 11 is complete.

Again I have confusion about the position . Maldini had the ability to play both Left and Central. But Maldini is always my first choice

To be very frank my first choice was Cafu's Long time Partner Roberto Carlos . Later i think about Junior . But As much as I read about Nilton Santos, I understand how much contribution he did have for the Brazilian football as well as World Soccer. Actually He was pioneering left back being one of first full backs to participate in the offensive game. Actually Nilton Santos is the Trend setter of the modern day full back.

Bangladesh Election &Bankrupt Elite Class

What can I say more than that? Far from my mother land I try to type some words on my note book. Recently I was monitoring some talk shows on the forth coming election in Bangladesh on a few Bangladeshi channels and noted some anomalies. The roll of media in Bangladesh seems a bit funny to me.

One of them is Channel I which airs a popular Talk Show called Tritio Matra. The host Zillur Rahman is a renowned Dhaka elite. Bangladeshi elites (Shusheel Samaj) are the 8th wonders of the world. Now who are these elites?

During the liberation war (1971) there were some notable intellectuals in Bangladesh, who augmented the cause of Bangladesh and some of them were able to escaped the wrath of the Pakistani and collaborator forces. They had representations in every part of the society and were very much near and dear to the people. Some of them explicitly dedicated their life for country. Their successors and the contemporary intellectuals had a dream for a secular and progressive Bangladesh. I can mention few names such as Kabir Chowdhury, Hassan Imam, Dr Nilima Ibrahim, Samsur Rahman, Begam Sufiya Kamal, Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury and the list goes on. They fought for their Principle and rights without any compromise all through their lives. But they were countered by the reactionary forces and very often they were labeled as “Awami Intellects”.

In course of time a few of them already reached the end of their lives and the nation lost some valuable assets. Some of them like Humayun Azad was the target of fanatics because they had progressive thoughts. I am sorry to say we have not got eligible successors of them, probably they retracted out of fear. Instead, we got some compromising, power monger, rootless and people of double standard, who are now known as the elite class of Bangladesh. You will see their re presentation in almost every forum now.

A chunk of editors, retired army officers, barristers, business men, some rootless politicians, media celebrities have formed a big syndicate. Over the top they are getting support of a portion of Non resident Bangladeshi who have the fatal attraction for a non elected regime and backing of some ambassadors of some influential countries.

Coming Back to Zillur Rahman’s popular Talk show, suddenly I have found some funny kind of characters are appearing at his program. One so called businessman from Qatar, who tried to get nomination from one political party but failed, simply was slumming politicians indiscriminately and have made funny comments about the father of the nation on a free style manner. Zillur was also
fueling on the fire.

Our elites are very often teaching us lesson of democracy. Some times they forget that “the people of the country know their need more than the elites”.

In the last few days there were much brouhaha about Arafat Rahman's scandal in a Singapore Bank, which was exposed by the Anti Corruption Commission in Bangladesh. This news is making big head lines in the newspapers.

My question to the Anti Corruption Authority is, “why they chose this particular time before the election for this investigation? Were they sleeping the last two years?”

The Bangladesh media is a champion to show their allegiance to the party in power. They can also predict which party can come to power and try to show their faithfulness by going some extra miles. Some Journalists have already started to cash on Arafat issue to be near to Awami League even by resorting to some false reporting.

Over the top the High Court is giving verdict against the Election commission (EC) to include detained leaders in the polls. Now the election commissioner was seen showing emotional reactions to the media on these decisions of high court. In fact he had found ways to voice his frustrations without showing contempt to court.

But our so called Elites are silent on these issues. I don’t know if I ever will see a sane political process in Bangladesh but for now most of the so called Bangladesh elites seem to have a moral bankruptcy.

To hang up the boot. He has truly established himself as the Legend.
One era of the world cricket is finished after retirement of Anil.

I am great fan of fab four. But if I am true fan of Indian Cricketer, It is Anil Kumble. From

Basically Major problem of any game is," if you want to change the full structure of the game for the corporate interest , You need to do lots of sacrifice with the quality of this

basic and technique. In fact Major problem is that 20-20 type of tournament never gave

I like to go back to the late 80s of Dhaka. There was a 4 nation under 19 tournament . India was the champion of this tournament. In fact
This Indian team was the future India team. Ajoy Jadeja, Vinod kambly, Ranjiv Bishwal,
Late Dhruv Pandab, Bhupinder Sing, Jateen ParanJapey and another name was Sourav Ganguly. In fact It was my teen age days and I was very excited to see those teen agers.

But this name Sourav Ganguly gave me huge attention. During those days west Bengal media

Was so much vocal about injustice to Bengal from BCCI. This old record was very common. But it is not always Bengal Media was right. They were very much vocal about
Arun lal. But It was known fact there was no such quality player who could match the Indian team. So name Sourav Ganguly kept my interest high.

Then success of debut series against England of him and Rahul Dravid are history. Sachin Tendulkar established himself then as the star of Indian cricket. Then here came
South Africa Series India had witnessed of VVS Laxman.
With out a doubt this middle order ( Tendulkar, Dravid, Ganguly and Laxman) is
One of the best middle orders of the history of the World cricket. It is the best luck of India
That they have got such super class Batsman at a time.

But again problem of Indian cricket is of the whole subcontinent not to adopt proper
Sports culture. Virendra Sehwag has been groomed him self nicely under Fab four. Test

Star Batsman Alok Kapali , Aftab Ahmed and ex vice captain Shahriar Nafees .

My reaction was mixed . ICL as known as rebel league of Indian Cricket.

BCCI is become the USA of world cricket. Mr Sharad Pawer can be called the George Bush and David Morgan is just the Ban –Ki –Moon of world cricket.

So every fair and unfair did of Hyena Lalit Modis are authorized by ICC.

Those who are attached with ICL, International cricket is become the forbidden kingdom for them though Cricketing greats Kapil Dev or Tony Greg are leading

In fact IPL is inspired by ICL but still ICC does not recognize ICL. Cricketing world has taken this news as hot cake.

If Bangladesh loose Class Cricketers like Aftab and Alok , We need long time to fill up their gap.

Think you know everything about the crimes of Tarique Rahman? Think again. Tasneem Khalil blows the lid off the sensational untold story of Tarique’s sponsorship of Islamic militancy during the past five years For five eventful years he ruled with an iron hand. And his lackeys were appointed across the country with the sole purpose of serving His Excellency’s dynasty. Bangladesh became their fiefdom while Tarique Rahman — eldest son of the then Prime Minister Khaleda Zia and BNP’s Joint Secretary General — presided over the darbar of all that was evil and corrupt. The top boss at Hawa Bhaban was the undeclared crown prince before whom everyone was supposed to bend down and submit.
After five long years, January 11 saw the fall of Hawa Bhaban and within weeks we watched in shock and awe how the military-backed interim government unceremoniously dispatched the Prince of Bogra to a prison cell at the Dhaka Central Jail. The story of Tarique Rahman came to an end. Then chapter by chapter the whole story started surfacing for public consumption. Years-old rumours and conspiracy theories got a fresh supply of blood and were confirmed as factual. The empire built by Tarique and his crony Giasuddin al-Mamun was exposed for inspection by the intelligence agencies and their findings started making headlines: bank accounts in Switzerland, Singapore, South Africa, Malaysia; investments in UAE; deals with Subrata Bain and Daud Ibrahim; Khamba Limited, Channel One, Dandy Dyeing, Orion, One Group; commissions, extortions, lobbying.
But not everything was exposed. Missing, till now, were two sinister chapters, Tarique Rahman’s sponsorship of the “jihad” that crippled and terrorized Bangladesh in recent years: International Khatme Nabuwat Movement and JMB.

For security and terrorism analysts across the globe, “End of Prophethood” was, from the very beginning, a movement to watch out for as it is widely believed to be highly influenced by Wahhabi jihadist philosophy and massively backed by Saudi money through the Muslim World League (Rabita al-Alam al-Islam). In recent years, Islamists tied to the International Khatme Nabuwat Movement (IKNM) wreaked havoc in Pakistan and Indonesia and are active in many other Muslim-majority countries with the declared goal of “preserving the finality of Muhammad’s prophethood.”
In its June 2005 report titled “Bangladesh: Breach of Faith,” Human Rights Watch commented:
An unprecedented climate of fear now pervades Bangladesh’s minority Ahmadiya community, a heterodox religious group that considers itself part of the larger Muslim world. Ahmadis have been the target of deadly violence and organized and widespread intimidation. Extremist Muslim groups have organized mass political rallies calling for an official declaration that Ahmadis are not Muslims and for a ban on their publications and missionary activities. Ahmadiya mosques have been attacked, individuals have been beaten up or killed, and others have been denied access to schools and sources of livelihood. While the police have generally provided protection to Ahmadis against mob violence, the current Bangladeshi government has aligned itself politically with groups and individuals inciting violence against Ahmadis.
It continued on the political connections the group maintained:
Throughout 2004 and into 2005, the Khatme Nabuwat (KN), an umbrella organization of Islamist groups dedicated to the preservation of “the finality of the prophethood” of Muhammad, has threatened the Ahmadiya community with attacks on their mosques and campaigned for Ahmadis to be declared non-Muslim. The KN enjoys links to the governing Bangladesh National Party (BNP) through the BNP’s coalition partners, the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and the IOJ.
And observed in one of the concluding paragraphs:
The BNP at times has sought to please its coalition partners JI and IOJ and some of its own members by implementing discriminatory policies — such as the ban on Ahmadiya publications — and by turning a blind eye to acts of violence and intimidation against minorities such as Ahmadis, Hindus, Christians, and others. While the BNP claims it is not a communal party and that it is not leading or instigating attacks on minorities, it has failed to take any serious action against those who carry out attacks or incite violence. The government’s capitulation to certain anti-Ahmadi demands, moreover, belies its assertions that if there are any religious fundamentalist groups in Bangladesh they have little power.
That the IKNM had ties with the BNP did not take a rocket scientist to figure out. Given the level of active support the group received from the police across the country during anti-Ahmadiya hate rallies and defacement of Ahmadiya mosques, any independent observer knew that they had special ties with the BNP high-command.
A wire I filed from Bogra for banglarights.net on March 11, 2005 illustrated the typical charade Ahmadiyas had to suffer in different parts of the country:
Bogra, March 11, Friday: Bending down to pressure and threats by leaders of International Khatme Nabuwat Movement (IKNM), Bogra Kotwali Police has pinned a notice on the walls of the Ahmadiya mosque here, as demanded and instructed by the anti-Ahmadiya activists. “Bogra Kadiani place of worship, do not mistake as a Muslim mosque,” the notice written on a tin-frame reads.
As instructed by Maulana Mahmudul Hasan Mumtazi and Maulana Noorani — IKNM leaders, Sub-Inspector Siraj and a constable of Bogra Kotwali Police carried the notice to the mosque gate by 6 PM and hammered it into the walls while Additional SP Zakir and OC Mansur supervised.
“We will not be able to provide you with security and if you do not allow us to hang this sign-board, we will withdraw our forces right now and will not take any further responsibilities,” ASP Zakir told Abdul Awwal Khan Chowdhury — Central Ahmadiya Missionary — as he, along with some members of Ahmadiya Jamaat tried to block the entrance of the mosque complex. OC Mansur said he would rather quit his job instead of providing the Ahmadiyas security. “We are not ready to take responsibility,” he said. With the apparent blackmail by the police officers Awwal and other Ahmadiyas backed off as IKNM leaders looked on.
“We cannot afford a street-battle in this town. So, in greater public interest, we are taking this action,” OC Mansur said while Abdul Awwal told reporters, “This is in violation of our basic human rights. We as citizens of this country protest this unlawful action by the police, but as we are law-abiding people we will not resist any man in uniform. But the painful fact is that these ‘men in uniform’ are now taking orders from some religious bigots.”
Earlier, central and local IKNM leaders threatened to turn the capital Dhaka into a “bleeding battleground” on December 23, if the government does not declare the Ahmadiyas as “non-Muslims” by then, from a rally — attended by about 7,000 people — in Sathmatha after Jumma prayers.
“This is just a warm-up and we are not using the least bit of violence, but if they (Ahmadiyas) are not declared non-Muslims by December 23, we are all-set for a blood-bath in Dhaka,” Maulana Noor Hossain Noorani, told the rally.
“We have discussed this program with Tarique Bhai (an apparent reference to Tarique Rahman) and he has assured us that we will have all-out support from the administration in carrying it out,” Maulana Mumtazi said.
After the rally, a four-member team of the IKNM — lead by Maulana Mumtazi — was taken to the Ahmadiya mosque by some police officials. Earlier, they (police and IKNM leaders) discussed and agreed upon a “procedure to end the rally peacefully.” Police lead by SP Mortaza thanked the IKNM leaders for leading a “well-organised rally” and offered full-cooperation while thousand of IKNM activists, carrying long-sticks, kept the town under siege. Till filing of this wire (9 pm) police was guarding the signboard in front of the Ahmadiya mosque.
At the rally in Bogra, Mufti Noor Hossain Noorani declared that Tarique, “the guardian of Bogra,” was “our Amir and same-aged friend” and threatened the police officials with Tarique’s direct intervention if IKNM’s demands were not met. The riot-gear clad police melted down before the bigots and gave in. Weeks later, a video footage of the statement came into my possession and is now hosted online at my blog (see end of this story for the address).
“We are part of the alliance-government. We have already consulted with Bhaiya (Tarique Rahman) and DGFI (Directorate General of Forces Intelligence). They have offered us full support,” with a broad smile on his face a central IKNM leader told me hours before the rally at Sathmatha while a few others smiled and nodded in agreement.
Months later, one evening I met Mufti Noorani for an interview at the rooftop restaurant of Grand Azad Hotel in Dhaka. Over a bowl of Thai soup, I inquired whether IKNM’s anti-Ahmadiya movements were anti-state or not. “We have blessings from the top,” Noorani told me with a sheepish grin. Ruling out the allegation of engaging in anti-state activities, he told me, “We are in regular contact with Major General Sadiq Hasan Rumi, the DGFI chief. If we are engaged in anti-state activities how come they are assisting us? Don’t tell me now that the DGFI is anti-state. We hold regular meetings at the cantonment.” He added, “Tarique Rahman is our leader, we are part of the government. In fact, whoever opposes us, the so-called civil society are the enemies of the Bangladesh state.”
April, 2005. In Satkhira, Noorani told local newsmen that he met the DGFI chief in Dhaka cantonment thrice and consulted over a possible bill in Parliament declaring the Ahmadiyas as “non-Muslims.” Weeks later, copies of a CD containing the video footage (a clip also hosted at my blog now) of that press briefing were circulating in Dhaka and reached the hands of human rights activists and the international community. Noteworthy is that the DGFI never issued any public rebuttal dismissing any of the claims made by Noorani. One of my sources close to the DGFI told me that the DGFI chief had received queries on the footage from different directions. Explaining his alleged ties with IKNM, Major General Rumi told at least one member of the diplomatic corps in Dhaka that he did have meetings with IKNM leaders as the Prime Minister Khaleda Zia directly instructed him.
The DGFI chief was not the only state official exploited by Khaleda Zia and her son in sponsoring the IKNM. Following the footsteps of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and General Zia-ul-Haq of Pakistan who used the anti-Ahmadiya hate groups there to gain control over Islamists in the 1970s, Tarique Rahman wanted to build IKNM as his own army of ultra-right storm-troopers. In engineering the countrywide hate campaigns, Tarique was assisted by the then chief of National Security Intelligence (NSI) Major General Rezzakul Haider Chowdhury.
As local and international fury was building up on the Ahmadiya issue, in late 2005, I was told by one of my sources close to the agency that the NSI chief had assigned one of his deputies to pressure the leaders of the Ahmadiya Muslim Jamaat in signing a testimony stating that the Ahmadiya community in Bangladesh were enjoying absolute religious freedom and were not suffering any violence or hate campaigns. A delegation of Ahmadiya leaders who reportedly met four NSI officials humbly turned down the offer demanding that the government first take steps to free their mosques under occupation in different parts of the country.
Tarique’s anti-Ahmadiya adventure aimed at gaining political currency with the right was carried out with active participation by two of his most trusted men: then State Minister for Home Affairs Lutfuzzaman Babar and Mossadek Ali Falu. While Babar made sure that the police assist IKNM with their rallies and mosque defacements, Falu was in charge of coordinating with their leaders and different madrasahs that fed IKNM with a supply of young members. “Every time the police obstructs an IKNM program, Babar picks up his phone and showers the officers with obscene threats. Who is going to stand up to the home minister,” one of my sources close to the Hawa Bhaban told me in early 2006. The same source detailed earlier in 2004 how Mossadek Ali Falu used madrasah students close to IKNM for casting fake votes in the Dhaka 10 by-election.

On March 30, Siddiqul Islam Bangla Bhai, Shaykh Abdur Rahman and five other JMB militants were hanged in different jails around the country. The mystery surrounding who was the lead sponsor of JMB was never publicly exposed. By now we know about some junior BNP ministers and MPs who aided JMB at the initial stage. However, we are yet to hear the whole story.
Just a few days before the executions my chance conversation with a regional commander of JMB opened a new lead on the story. “Minister Aminul Haque and Dulu (Ruhul Quddus) used to have regular meetings with leader (Bangla Bhai) in 2003 then in 2004. Then they used to consult directly with Tarique Rahman over Aminul Haque’s mobile phone. Leader used to inform Tarique before every crucial operation and seek his support,” he detailed. Confirming this version, a recent report by vernacular daily Bhorer Kagoj quoted JMB sources who claimed that Bangla Bhai maintained such a close tie with Tarique Rahman that he used to address Tarique as mama (maternal uncle).
Even after the August 2005 bombings Tarique’s support for the jihadist organizations in Bangladesh continued. On many occasions intelligence officials tried investigating financial links of these terrorist organizations and faced huge pressure from government high-ups. “It was Tarique who played the dirty game and derailed investigations, always,” one senior intelligence official told me about their frustrations.

Intelligence agencies may investigate alleged links between arrested Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP Tarique Rahman and Dubai-based Indian underworld don Daud Ibrahim. Communications Adviser M.A. Matin made this comment to reporters yesterday when he was asked about a Kolkata-based newspaper report that quoted Indian intelligence agency officials as saying Tarique had close links with Ibrahim as well as the al-Qaeda.
“I saw this in newspapers but this is just a bit of information. Now it is the duty of the intelligence agencies to investigate the matter and find out the evidence,” he said. The government will have to check the veracity of the report’s claims, he added. “Tarique will be charged and legal action will be taken against him if the allegation is proved true,” said Matin, also chairman of the National Coordination Committee to prevent grievous crimes.
A report titled “Khaleda’s son contacted Daud to buy arms” was published by the daily Anandabazar Patrika citing an intelligence report of the Indian external affairs ministry. Tarique also established contacts with the al-Qaeda through his involvement in the international money laundering, the report claimed.
The newspaper said Tarique and the then National Security Intelligence director general Rezzakul Haider Chowdhury travelled to Dubai in March 2006 to secure a series of deals at a Dubai hotel to buy arms and ammunition in the lead up to the cancelled January 22 parliamentary elections. This is the continuation of my previous Post.

Basically Our Regulatory Board BTRC should Know the type of License. ISP license is already been assigned and if I am not mistaken VOIP opening bill had been passed.

As Voip is the Part of Telecommunication I don't find any thing wrong to use this technology.

Now where is the Problem of Regulatory body? Problem is Any mode of Call should be routed through BTTB Gateway. Any international Operator can use it By traditional point to point
Satellite IPLC , Via Cable or Via Public Ip(Voice Over Internet protocol).So as the issue is to

Monitor every call is Via BTTB Gateway so all Ip traffic is monitored.

Now Voip is the System where 70% Telco cost is reduced. Even China is Migrating their full system to VoiIp from TDM.

BTRC has to keep one thing in mind that this is the era of Perfect competition. They are not

the regulatory body of BTTB only. They have to see the interest of Public .

Because this Communication system is related to very much in every sector of Bangladesh.

Now BTRC Can follow the Model of IDA (info com Development Authority of Singapore).

Basically IDA has different Category.

Here I will discuss about the very two basic Category-

1) SBO Class : This is the license you can use only the wholesale of the minutes no pree paid activities. Traffic can be gone via public IP only. This license never allow to make any cable connection and Retail facilities . this Cost only 250 sgd (1 usd= 1.48 sgd).

This is the life long facilities. Company Must be private limited or Limited Liability Partners ship

(LLP).After Financial Year when Company submits the accounts then Income Tex is decided
by the Govt not IDA (As BTRC) or SINGTEL( As BTTB). In this license you don't need to go internet Exchange

2) SBO Individual: Through out this License one can go for Retail operation and pree paid service, Inter connection via Cable means you can do calling card, call back and every thing

company must have paid up capital of 100k SGD and 5000 Sgd is license fee and Can renew

every year in same price. SBO operators can rent E1 connection from Sing Tel,Star Hub also

Bandwidth. There are Data centers of Sing Tel, Equnix ,StarHub where operator can host their system.

So are Sing Tel and Star Hub running after the other operator to share their revenue?

Or appoint Police with IDA to run after the operators.

They are buying from Local Tier2. Retail Players( Calling Card Companies) are buying Routes from Tier1 like Sing Tel.

Besides Tier1 has their own Card and all.

In that Case Both Govt and private sectors are getting revenue.

So I think We should Implement such Model asap to save this industry.

Voip and Bangladesh are the talk of the world in now a days. I could not say it is talk of the town.

VOIP license It is Just like a Lamp of Aladin. Voip License means the column of Shahriar Khan or

Naimur Rahman Khan( Self Declared Telecom Analyst).

Actually Bangladesh Telecom sector is slowly going to its ultimate Destiny as Pakistan Market.

This is the market which has still now huge possibility but because of some Inefficient people

we are going to loose the market.

My question to the Bangladesh information& Telecom Ministry how long they will take to

make the decision about so called license?

I think lots of time and energy are used in the eligibility of license? I think It is a real big public
Issue.

BTTB does not have capacity.

Lots of analysis has been made. We need solutions.

Now how long will it take to get License to Call?

We have reached in the 14th week after the verdict of High court on VOIP. But Still now there is no farther development in this Sector. Being Center of this industry I know how much disasters are waiting for the Tele communication Sector of Bangladesh.

Actually To achieve License is not the last point. You have to develop infrastructure.

Main problem In Bangladesh People Treat VOIP

Only on the point of Telephonic Call Termination&Origination side.My Point is If our so called Young group has enough capital or not to Invest on the infrastructure . I am worried that a section of Media& People

want to make some conflict between Isp Associations& Mobile Operators which is very risky. and Because of such statements that

Old group of Ex Govt is benefited who never

helped this sector to be grown up in last some years. and This group of people using

the lack of proper knowledge in this sector of Media . BTTB is even not also out of that.

Because During last some years BTTB system was completely broken down because of Some corrupt officials who were connected to Higher officials of the GOVT.

Basically what I am feeling Too many people are giving their opinion and I am afraid It will take very bad affect in our telecommunication sector. I need to point Out some thing . First of all what is the Roll of BTTB and Other 4 operators in Bangladesh? what is the current Infrastructure BTTB owns now? I myself had some Tele conference with some higher officials of BTTB. But I found they have the lack of Technical manpower and adequate Infrastructure and sorry to say that they have also very much lack of knowledge

about this sector. But From the center of this industry I can say this industry has multiple prospect in the country. Major problem is that BTTB is the only Govt based

operator who have telecommunication infrastructures But which is not enough.

They are scared to complete with Better and Modern system.As an Only Govt operator

They are the member of the consortium. so SE A-WE-ME 4 cable which has landed to Bangladesh they have got the sole right of Bangladesh side. and Here lies the problem. In last some years growth rate of our Mobile operators are 65% But BTTB gowth is completely in negative. huge system loss is going on because ofthe lots of corruption. BTTB is the tier1 operator but they can't take them to the next level at all compare to the other operators. while Sing Tel, Vsnl,

Star Hub, PCCW are growing up like any thing but in last some years BTTB even can't identify the policy and Right Infrastructure. here world is going with 3G BTTB even can't implement SMS In Teletalk. Govt was not even serious about this sector at all. BTTB could not develop even any

alternative sector for their source of income and I am 100% sure They are going on Loss even.so after 1971-1990 They have

done the Monopoly . Over the Top they got

lots of foreign Fund Plus subsidy. but They could Not make It profitable Company.

SINGTEL and STARHUB are the Pride of Singapore. But Our Tier1 BTTB?

Now Most important is about the legality of VOIP .Here First question is coming up about that BTTB is Deprived of revenue because of Gray operators and Mobile operators are supporting them etc etch Blah blah. and

some Media people are very much convinced and making stories without proper

knowledge. First of all what is the Definition of Revenue &Income Tex? BTTB is scared that If VOIP is opened they will loose the revenue. BTTB is not the National Revenue Board or Income Tex Department. To me Govt should get the revenue not BTTB. GOVT may get it by Tax and

Vat. But why should we destroy a promising sector because of a particular Govt Office.

They are simply Govt operator. Just Imagine where we are seating right of the moment and where is our national Growth of a particular sector. It was good that BTRC has been developed but Is right person seating on the chair of BTRC? BTTB even can't develop their International whole sale department over the year. They even don't have proper customer care Department. It is our best of luck that Those Foriegin companies Telenor, Telecom Malaysia, Sing Tel and Orascom Put their money in the country and this sector is getting real revolution now and all those companies did have different services in several sectors of telecommunication in other countries.

But because of some out dated policy this promising sectors can't be developed. We have market but we can't explore for the white Elephant like BTTB. Now I think GOVT should take immediate decision about opening of VOIP and should open it in reasonable price. I mentioned that VOIP is a Technology. It is not only used in Telephonic call. It is also used in several Telecom works. BPO, IPPBX etc can be very good

industry. by using the best wonder of 21st century. and Those common platform and all are simply wastage of time. Every Isp and Mobile operators should apply for this license even from other sectors and BTTB has to compete with this private sector. It is funny that they are scared to compete with the private sector. Govt can earn much better revenue from this industry by opening it. and again I am Just pointing this to Govt that they should speak with the consultant of home and abroad of this sector and they should speak with the Marketing and Financial and financial

analyst as well.I found in the Review Committee One professor is becoming the head and all BTTB people are there. But there is no telecom specialist. These people

don't have any real time exposer , Business Development sense .and every time we are having problem in this area. But as This

Industry is promising I will expect Govt will take right step. We Have to remember one thing IT industry is supporting industry. Telecommunication is a Fast growing Sector. Voip Is not only limited in Call Termination& origination. Lots of Old technology is replaced by VOIP and Bangladesh is the people of 200 Million.

To any Tier1,2 ,3 and Retail operator Bangladesh is simply hot Cake. So It is very important Right now to focus in this sector in priority basis.

Gliese 581 was identified at the European Southern Observatory (Eso) facility at La Silla in the Atacama Desert recently

The planet is located around a star known as the Gliese 581, which is about 20.5 light years away from earth's solar system and among one of the 100 closest stars to the sun. One year on the planet lasts for only 13 days.

To make the discovery possible, researchers had to use a very sensitive instrument called HARPS (High Accuracy Radial Velocity for Planetary Searcher) that can measure tiny changes in the velocity of a star as it experiences the gravitational tug of a nearby planet.

Gliese 581 is much cooler and dimmer than our own Sun and the discovery has created tremendous excitement among scientists.

The Gliese 581 super-Earth is in what scientists call the "Goldilocks Zone" where temperatures "are just right" for life to have a chance to exist.

The yet unnamed planet is only about one-and-a-half times the size of earth and five times massive than our earth, according to a team of European astronomers.

Its discoverers are not yet clear that if it has a rocky surface like the Earth or if it’s a frozen ice ball with liquid water on the surface.

If it is rocky like Earth, according to the prevailing theory, it has a diameter ``of about one and a half times bigger than our planet and if it is an ice ball, then it would be even bigger.

The research team believes that the average temperature of the planet to be somewhere between 0 and 40 degrees celcius and that has set off celebrations among astronomers.

Until now, all 220 planets found by astronomers outside our solar system have had the "Goldilocks problem." They've been either too hot or too cold. Or they are just a plain—too big and gaseous—like uninhabitable Jupiter.

Xavier Delfosse of Grenoble University in France said that the newfound planet could inhabit life and will definitely be a target for future space missions to find extra-terrestrial beings.
